Booking enquiries and contact

Essence Tours offers private tours, transfers and chauffeur services in Santorini. Use the booking form for your chosen service or contact our team to discuss your requirements and booking arrangements.

Prices and payment

Standard four-hour private tours start at €240, five-hour private tours at €300, and the six-hour private tour at €360. These starting prices cover up to two people. Each additional person adds €50 to the total.

The wine tour has separate pricing of €200 per person, with a minimum of two participants. Children and non-drinkers participate at the regular price and receive soft drinks instead of wine.

Payment is normally made in cash to the driver. Card payment or a deposit can also be arranged with our team. Please discuss your preferred payment arrangement when requesting your booking.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time incur no cancellation fee. Any amount already paid will be refunded in full.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the booking price.
A cancellation made exactly 48 hours before departure falls within the full-refund period.
If your cruise ship does not call at Santorini, any amount paid for your booking will be refunded in full.
If Essence Tours cancels your service because of weather, any amount paid will be refunded in full.

Pickup and meeting arrangements

Discuss your pickup location and arrival details with our team when arranging your service.

For the Shore Excursion for Cruise Guests, the meeting point is at the cable-car exit at the top in Fira, where the driver holds a sign with your name. This is not a vehicle pickup beside the cruise tender boat.

If you cannot find your driver, contact us by telephone or WhatsApp at +30 694 658 5189.

Tour inclusions and guiding

Check the inclusions and exclusions on your selected tour page. Standard sightseeing tours include private air-conditioned transport and pickup/drop-off arrangements. Personal expenses, cable-car tickets, entrance fees unless prearranged, food and drinks, and gratuities are excluded. The wine tour has its own inclusions.

The included driver provides local information and commentary, not licensed tour guiding. Discuss any requirement for a licensed guide separately with our team.

Access needs and child seats

Please tell us about walking difficulties or wheelchair needs when arranging your service. We can adapt stops for walking difficulties, and a suitable vehicle for wheelchair needs can be arranged upon request and coordination. This does not mean every attraction or route is wheelchair accessible.

Child seats are available on request at no extra charge. Please tell our team about your child’s needs in advance.
