Where does a Santorini shore excursion start?

Check the arrival instructions provided by your cruise line. If your tender brings you to the Old Port of Fira, take the cable car up to Fira town. We confirm a specific meeting point very close to the upper cable-car station, where the vehicle can reach you and has room to stop. This is not a waterfront pickup.

The Old Port and Athinios ferry port are different meeting locations. If your ship gives you another disembarkation arrangement, share those details with us before confirmation so we can agree on the right meeting point.

How much time should you allow?

A four-hour tour does not mean that four hours between ship arrival and departure is enough. Your usable time ashore also needs to cover tendering, the cable-car queue and ride, reaching the driver, and the return journey to your ship.

Send us your ship name, scheduled arrival and all-aboard time when you enquire. We use these details to discuss a suitable start, route and return plan. Your vehicle is reserved for your own party. The included driver shares local knowledge and island commentary; this is not a licensed-guide service.
